Welcome to Fiber Trades!

For our community:  Fiber Trades is in the business of providing instruction in the fiber arts.  Currently offering classes in knitting, our broader vision is to keep the rich heritage of fiber arts alive in Southeast Michigan by offering class selections in all the textile traditions, from sheep-to-shawl!

For students: Our classes are offered at select local yarn shops in Southeast Michigan.  Select the Class List link on the left to view current offerings.  Please let us know of other classes you’d like to take, or if your local yarn shop does not yet offer Fiber Trades classes!

For instructors:  We’re looking for great teachers in all of the fiber arts traditions.  No prior teaching experience necessary.  Please contact us if you wish to share your appreciation and knowledge of fiber arts with others!
