Class Description

This four-session class is designed to give students a basic introduction to knitting lace with additional opportunity to focus on finishing and sizing considerations.  Students will knit a popular baby sweater pattern,Presto Chango, offered by Jimmy Beans Wool.  They will learn how to work a beginning lace pattern, how to cast on at the beginning of a row and create button holes, and two techniques for seaming edges.  Made with any worsted weight yarn, the result is an easy sweater with a panel in the front to help keep clean without an entire new change of clothes!
